The complex lighting, shadows, and post processing in FarCry 2 make it a great test of any DX10 graphics card. The benchmarks below are series averages based on both stock and overclocked frequencies. We have also included the stock benchmark for the Superclocked Edition of this card. This will give you an idea of the performance difference between the two cards out of the box.
Solid Tip: The older drivers, 196.21, get a better Far Cry 2 score than the newer 197.34 version. Also note that, for some reason, the Far Cry 2 benchmark is somewhat random. Watch the people carefully, and you’ll see they move around and talk randomly.
